SSE Labs & Choosing a Mentor

The program offers office space at the new AOL building on Page Mill in Palo Alto, access to mentors, classes, and opportunities to pitch infront of angels and VCs. Idea to Product: Closed Alpha Launch
After many late nights and infinite iced coffees we finally launched the very first version of ObviLux. We learned a great deal about how many features can and should be fit into an initial version, especially while meeting a quick deadline. Amazon steps into the ring of daily deals with its designer retail arm, MyHabit. With so many companies offering the same service it’s not surprising they have followed in the footsteps of eBay, Google, and Facebook.

We tested out the LaunchRock service to collect users for our pre-alpha testing. Very simple, clean design that have us a good presence while we finish building out the site. The only downside is we won’t be using it for long…we work too fast.
